We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our team to use an Agile methodology to support GenAI pilots and implementations for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities at Windsor Mill, MD. As a GenAI Project Manager supporting the Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS) contract, you will work with our hosting, security, and functional teams, along with Oracle to develop and implement GenAI capabilities. This effort includes oversight of the implementing teams, following security policies, facilitating meetings and providing status of the implementations.

This position is under the Security Director as a part of the cybersecurity team responsible for establishing and maintaining a high security posture for a critical federal information system. Our team’s security responsibility includes, but not limited to, developing IT security strategy and architecture, establishing security operations and monitoring, implementing risk and vulnerability management processes, remediating weaknesses, conducting audits and assessments, maintaining all manner of IT security documentation, managing access, and enforcing Federal and organizational policies.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

  • Lead assigned GenAI initiatives which may include tool implementation and security and infrastructure activities.

  • Responsibilities include working with the customer and hosting, functional and security teams to provide proactive management and oversight of initiative workflows from kickoff to closeout.

  • Performs a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of GenAI implementations.

  • Monitors and reports performance against implementation to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

  • Interact with customer, security and technical personnel, and Oracle representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

  • Propose and track risks, issues, and lessons learned, providing context and commentary for each as prescribed by the Project Management Office.

  • Develops and annotates dashboards, graphs, and reports using ServiceNow and/or Microsoft products.

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to tasking.

  • Set-up and attend meetings and provide meeting recaps.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of combined technical and cross-functional process management experience on federal government contracts with a focus on successful implementations.

  • Knowledge of GenAI implementations and use.

  • Knowledge and experience using ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.

  • Knowledge and experience using MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, and other relevant collaboration tools.

  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability and comfort level to conduct presentations for existing customer audiences.

  • Experience managing Agile Projects

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAD:

  • Ability to focus on accuracy and consistency of data and numbers is a prerequisite for this role.

  • Ability to synthesis and convey complex details from technical SME and deliver at an executive level.

  • Knowledge of CMS security guidelines and technology requirements.

  • PMP, SAFe Agile, CSM certifications

  • Preferably 8+ total years experience

LOCATION :

This is a hybrid position. Must live within driving distance of Windsor Mill, MD to work onsite once a month .

CLEARANCE : Ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
