JPMorgan Chase Technical Project Manager-Sr. Associate in Wilmington, Delaware

As a Technical Project Manager on the Marketing Execution team, you'll shape the business-driven technology solutions that guide strategic initiatives across Consumer and Community Banking. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities and translate that insight into high-quality solutions. In addition to working with the Product team and Vendors to create new solutions, you'll help optimize and enhance existing technology suites and business process and identify new capabilities. While your role requires deep technical business analysis skills - including expertise in everything from business process management, data management to functional design - it also hinges on project management, teamwork, and leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement product road map, manage timelines and track progress for multiple simultaneous channel projects.

  • Lead user profile management, report and dashboard management. Work closely with product teams for custom fields, forms and project templates.

  • Create and maintain standard PMO processes, configuration documentation and training documents. Troubleshoot technical issues and co-ordinate with product team for technical support.

  • Coordinate with various key executives, business-aligned functional areas, vendors, and technology to build business requirements, procedures, and processes.

  • Lead strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects. This will include project plan development, resource management, requirements management, process mapping, process design, procedure authoring, org design, capacity sizing, etc.

  • Strategically align and effectively communicate key priorities, milestones, deadlines, and decisions.

  • Using strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, lead projects and initiatives that cut across multiple departments at all levels.

  • Understand leadership intent and vision, lead to drive and track goals and priorities. Tackle and solve issues through escalation and articulate the issues that need to be done to elevate the team and allow easy accountability.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities:

  • 3+ years project management / business analysis experience in an operational or project management focused role

  • Excellent analytical, leadership, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong initiative with ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability for detecting potential project risks and implementing appropriate solutions to mitigate impact on timelines or business operations

  • Experience working closely with Product Owners, technical architects and business users to drive and deliver design and implementation of key initiatives and projects

  • Advanced knowledge of business processes and data analysis, as well as the ability to propose solutions to solve complex business problems

  • Ability to liaison between lines of business and development teams, translating strategic goals into technology solutions, and vice versa

  • Creative, passionate about technology, and ready to help build something great

  • Experience working with project management and analysis software, such as Excel, MS Project, Visio, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Tableau etc.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and capabilities:

  • Experience with implementing Adobe Workfront or similar enterprise-wide project management platform is a plus.
