Noblis Business Process Analyst (Junior) - Naval Shipyard (NAVSEA 04X) Program Support in Washington

Responsibilities

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) objectives to design, build, deliver and maintain ships, submarines, and systems reliably, on-time and on-cost for the Navy. We are looking to hire a Business Process Analyst (Junior) for scientific, engineering, technical, and analytical (SETA) support to NAVSEA 04X and the Naval Shipyards.

The Business Process Analyst (Junior) will support analysis required to improve maintenance execution across the broader NAVSEA Naval Ship Maintenance enterprise. The successful candidate will focus on workforce and team development with specific attention to the “One Nuclear Shipyard.” The Junior Analyst will provide direct support to the Noblis Project Operations Manager in the execution of Project Management Training and Integrated Project Team Development (IPTD) program objectives, to include:

  • Support of Naval Ship Maintenance Community organizations in and outside the Naval Shipyards in business process improvement. Outside activities may include but not limited to Carrier Teams, Submarine Teams, Ship Repair Facilities, Supervisors of Shipbuilding, Fleet Regional Maintenance Centers, and private nuclear building yards.

  • Delivery of an integrated high level professional training curriculum for immediate and long-range needs of NAVSEA industrial operations and Naval Ship Maintenance community, including submarine and carrier project training and IPTD (approximately 60/year) events

  • Support to NAVSEA and Fleet corporate strategies and professional development efforts

  • Design and execution of periodic program evaluation reviews to ensure the program is meeting its stated objectives across the One Nuclear Shipyard

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Associate’s degree in a related filed. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in related field

  • DOD SECRET Security Clearance

  • Proficient in use of MS Office Suite tools and applications, including drafting presentations

  • Appropriate written and verbal communication skills to interact with U.S. Navy military and civilian personnel

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with public naval shipyards operational/management structure and strategic initiatives, CNO availability planning and execution (CONUS and OCONUS), NAVSEA strategic initiatives and insertion into naval shipyards.

  • Broad experience supporting naval maintenance and/or Naval Shipyards (or related field)

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $56,000.00 - USD $98,000.00 /Yr.
