Project Manager, C-IED Policy and Planning

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Office of Bombing Prevention (OBP). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of subject matter experts providing strategic and programmatic policy, analysis, planning, communications, outreach, and engagement support within OBP and relevant agencies promoting awareness of the domestic threats posed by improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Location :

Arlington, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of existing policy documents and develop the foundation for multi-agency policy and strategy.

  • Lead the development of documentation, correspondence, briefing materials, and other operations of OBP.

  • Lead internal and external dissemination of the values of mission, programs, products, and services.

  • Implement cost control measures for the tasks outlined by project requirements.

  • Plan, execute, and participate in workshops, conferences, and other outreach events identified by OBP/Strategy leadership.

  • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports that demonstrate and track projects to management.

  • Direct project staff and interface with COR and other federal employees.

  • Management employees and direct project deliverables from the Arlington, VA location

  • Establish and direct frequent meetings with the project staff and management to formulate and review task plans and deliverables.

  • Lead daily synchronization efforts with branch federal employees.

  • Function as the single point of contact for daily activities related to project implementation

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Required: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI)

  • Required: 10+ years’ experience in policy and strategy development of Counter IED (C-IED) capabilities

  • Required: Direct experience working with the Joint Program Office (JPO) for C-IED

  • Required: Possess a diverse network of interagency C-IED connections

  • Desired: 1+ years’ experience supporting an organization within CISA and familiarity with CISA branding / marketing-type requirements
