The Edinburg Center Counselor III / Supported Education Coordinator in Waltham, Massachusetts

Counselor III /Supported Education Coordinator

$18.55 per hour

Who You Are:

BA/BS required. Masters in Rehab. Counseling or related discipline preferred. Two years experience with the MH population preferred. Experience in a Clubhouse Model, Accredited Clubhouse preferred. Experience with Supported Education preferred. Valid MA driver’s license required.

What You Will Do:

  • Development of Clubhouse Supported Education Program

  • Oversight of weekly Supported Education meeting

  • Coordination of educational goal planning with clubhouse members

  • Support case management for, and advocate for an average of 20 members

  • Participate in the social component of the program which includes coordinating of events, engaging members in social activities, and modeling appropriate social behavior

  • Responsible for motivating members from a diverse population and diverse levels of functioning

  • Vocational rehabilitation

  • Provide crisis intervention on an as-needed basis

  • Responsible for ordering supplies according to work area needs
