UX Designer Location: Mountain View, CA/Hybrid Duration: 4-5 months Description: Project Overview: (Share 2-3 sentences about the business) AI Chat lets users collaborate with generative AI to boost productivity and fuel creativity. The UX team is made of dedicated and talented UI designers, researchers, writers, content designers and PgMs passionate about creating the best possible experience for our users. We work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with team members across Client. Overall Responsibilities: (Share 2-3 sentences about the position): As a designer on the UX team, you’ll work closely with UX design, research, engineering, and product management, to understand and prioritize user needs. Collaborate with a highly motivated UX team to define the future product experience for AI Chat. Design is grounded in constraints, which serve as boundaries to work within and barriers to creatively overcome. The craft is knowing when to conform and when to push the edge. Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: (3+ bullets of the main responsibilities on the assignment): Create new designs, including (but not limited to) AI, user flows, wireframes, mocks, and prototypes. Explore design options grounded in constraints, which serve as boundaries to work within and know when to conform and when to push the edge for creative overcomes. Communicate design intent to stakeholders. Clearly rationalize and justify design work with users’ needs. Deliver precise and visually elegant design specs for engineering implementation and work closely with engineers to ensure high quality execution. Skill/Experience/Education: Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience of 5+ years in User Experience Design, HCI, Interaction, data visualization, or 5 years of experience in a similar industry. Experience in using UX tools (e.g., Figma, etc.). Experience collaborating with Designers, Engineers, Content Strategists and Product Managers throughout the design process.
