TIME SOLUTIONS, LLC is seeking anInstructional Designertolead and manage the analysis, planning, design, development and implementation for course development for FEMA. TheInstructional Designerwill work with a variety of subject matter experts to design training curricula and programs, considered moderately complex in nature. In addition to providing design evaluation strategies to validate that learning outcomes are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers or instructors

  • Design and create training manuals, online (e.g., mediated and self-study) learning modules, storyboards, and course materials

  • Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they are current and effective

  • Apply instructional systems design principles to revise curriculum based on competencies by applying the principles of instructional systems technology to design and develop a revised curriculum based on the identified competencies; engaging with subject matter experts to design and develop curricular training/development sessions; providing support to revise learner outcomes/performance objectives in specific and measurable terms describing what a trainee should do at the conclusion of training; providing support to specify instructional strategies and instructional media to solve defined training problems based on thorough analysis of target audience and content; providing support to develop instructional products by collaborating with project team personnel to produce product components in a range of instructional possibilities (case studies, lectures, and on-line training); providing support to build on current curriculum design work being performed

  • Provide consultation on instructional design principles and evaluations by providing support to design and implement strategies for overseeing both formative and summative evaluations

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Instructional Design.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of instructional design experience.

  • Utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Extensive experience in the ADDIE and/or SAM modeling.

  • Working proficiency with content development software (e.g. Captivate, Articulate, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Knowledge of project management and efficient use of resources.

  • Ability to research and analyze complex information.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of work related information and materials.

  • Ability to maintain an established work schedules.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Ability to travel
