Texas A&M's Health's Office of Finance & Administration (http://health.tamu.edu/about/admin/finance.html) is actively seeking an Entry-Level Business Administrator I to join our dynamic team in Bryan, Texas. You'll be the heartbeat of our financial operations, a trusted guardian of our accounts, and the maestro of money management.

We're searching for candidates to oversee a comprehensive suite of business functions. This includes tasks of examining and approving business documents, as well as formulating, managing, and conveying information related to accounts, budgets, and a variety of other financial metrics.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Document Management - Review and approve business documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Financial Oversight - Develop and monitor account and budgets, providing reliable financial data

  • Data Reporting & Analyze and drive strategic decision making by producing detailed business reports, handle fiscal year-end activities and solve financial challenges

  • Operational Excellence - Manage cash handling, capital purchases, and serve as the property accountability officer

  • Customer Service - Deliver exceptional service, maintaining expertise in departmental functions and serve as the primary contact for business inquires

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND five years of related experience in general office, accounting, or personnel operations.

A well-qualified candidate would possess five years of experience in the TAMU Business/Financial Office, along with expertise in TAMU’s Scholarships and Financial Aid (SOLAR/SPARTA), Tuition and Fee Payments (TWAPMTS), and Purchasing Systems (FAMIS, CANOPY, AggieBUY, CONCUR).
