Utilize your expertise to make a difference in the community with our Venice Family Clinic as a Supervisor for our Electronic Health Records team. This supervisory role works closely with our IT, Informatics and Quality teams to ensure Venice Family Clinic staff can effectively utilize our HIT platforms to deliver care to our patients. The supervisor is responsible for:

• Creating trainer schedules, fulfilling training requests, and evaluating the effectiveness of our training practices.

• Supporting our IT team in EHR configuration and tracking open tickets with vendors.

• Working with their team to troubleshoot workflow issues and identify barriers to efficient documentation.

• Supervising the medical chart abstraction and data entry of relevant data elements from paper or other medium into the Electronic Medical Records System.

• Training the trainers, medical students, medical residents, volunteer providers, and staff providers on use of NextGen.

• Training the trainers on developing workflows for eFax for use of the Document Management system to enter incoming faxes into patient's charts, developing workflows for use of Clinical Message Manager to match lab results to the appropriate patients, and develop workflows for Management of Patient Portal Dashboard processes and support issues.

Salary Range: $86,900.00-$197,300.00 AnnualQualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EHR trainer, or in a role that included EHR training responsibilities

• Supervisory experience

• Proficient knowledge of Electronic Health Records, preferably NextGen

• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Knowledge and/or ability other HIT systems, like HIEs and Patient Portals

• ICD-10, CPT-Codes, medical terminology, medical diagnostics, laboratory exams

• Ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and work in a team environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Skill at working independently; Organizing priorities with a minimum of supervision

• Ability to train staff and volunteers at all levels
