Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in a CPA firm located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves general bookkeeping functions and tax preparation during tax season within a professional setting. You will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in various skills such as account reconciliation, data entry, and usage of software like Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general bookkeeping duties including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliations on a regular basis

• Prepare tax documents during tax season

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain financial records

• Use Microsoft Excel for various financial functions and reporting

• Carry out month-end close procedures

• Manage payroll functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of Bookkeeping principles and practices

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll systems and processes

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
