Description

Amazon’s Direct Fulfillment (DF) team is looking for a tenured & self-motivated Sr. Program Manager, Business Development, who owns the program's top-line/bottom-line, new vendor acquisition, new selection expansion, and Free Cash Flow savings, designing and driving DF business growth mechanism of new service launch, vendor pipeline development, onboarded vendors' DF business expansion, and channel optimization based on profitability with cross functional teams for better customer experience. As a Sr. Program Manager, you will also be a key contributor to the future technology roadmap and long-term vision of Direct Fulfillment within Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technology Group (SCOT).

In this role you will…

• Extract and analyze data to identify DF business opportunity from various aspects such as selection, availability and profitability

• Shape strategic retail and vendor engagement, liaise and drive retail relationships, identify business opportunities, seek operation and tech support to meet business requirements, and prioritize for the DF business expansion

• Seek for new DF business opportunity with retail category teams and other business teams, and obtain new vendor candidates

• Pitch DF program recommendations to retail category teams and align on target vendor list

• Engage with potential vendors, pitching the program, removing barriers and onboarding the vendor

• Drive DF business growth of onboarded vendors by building and running mechanisms

• Manage cross category sourcing optimization programs, optimizing program parameter settings, calculating business entitlement, implementing program at scale and tracking outcomes

• Communicate (writing and speaking) with executive audiences to provide program updates, influence stakeholder to get support, and build DF promotion mechanism to keep promoting DF program

• Key contributor to the future DF technology roadmap, collect voices from vendor and retail, work closely with product team to drive new feature launch

• リテールカテゴリーチームと一緒に新しいビジネス機会を創出し、候補となるベンダーを選定します

• リテールカテゴリーチームにDFプログラム活用のメリットを提案し、ターゲットとなるベンダーリストを得ます

• ターゲットベンダーにDFプログラム活用のメリットを提案し、導入の障害を取り除き、新規ベンダーを立ち上げます

• メカニズムの策定及び実行を通して立ち上がったベンダーのDFビジネス成長をドライブします

• ビジネスカテゴリーを横断するソーシング最適化プログラムを管理します（具体的にはプログラムのパラメーターの最適化、ビジネス機会の計算、広範囲への導入、結果のトラッキングを行う）

• プログラムに関する最新情報を関係者に資料やミーティングを通して常にアップデートを行い、プログラムの拡大するための啓蒙活動や関係者から協力を得ながらプロモーションメカニズムを構築します

• ベンダーやリテールチームのフィードバックを収集し、プロダクトチームと連携しながら新しい機能の開発を行い、プログラムの将来的なビジョン構築に貢献していきます

Basic Qualifications

• +5 years of sales, project management, or supply chain management experience

• +3 years of process management, cross functional project management experience

• hold engineering, operation, transportation, business related degree

• Be able to travel up to 20% of working time

• Business level in both English and Japanese (verbal and writing)

• 5年以上の提案営業・プロジェクトマネージメント・サプライチェーンエリアの経験

• 3年以上のプロセス管理、及び組織横断型プロジェクト管理の経験

• エンジニアリング・オペレーション・運送・ビジネスに関する学士を保有

• 業務の20％程度は出張を含む

• ビジネスレベルの日本語と英語力（読み書き・話し）

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold engineering, operation, transportation, business related master degree

• +3 years of dropship or logistic program management experience

• +3 years of retail and vendor/supplier management experience

• Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
