Description:

Clean and maintain shop areas including the chemical room, machine shop and production

floor for day-to-day operations to include FOD control.

 Organize shop materials, tools, and maintain 5S compliance.

 Learn to select, align, and secure specified holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments,

accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, sanders, drill presses,

computerized engraving machines, and riveting machines.

 Assist production technicians with preparing aircraft parts for inspections by using solvent

cleaners, paint strippers and media blast as required.

 Stage material and ensure that machines are in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
