Citigroup Global Technology Procurement Manager-Senior Vice President in Tampa, Florida

The Senior Vice President, Global Technology Procurement role is responsible for developing, executing, and managing the strategies for the acquisition of third-party technology products and services, including consulting services, software, SaaS, and Public Cloud across all regions.

The role will coordinate with senior business leaders to align the procurement strategy to the business and organizational objectives. A key responsibility is to independently manage strategic, high value, often complex, supplier competitive events through contract execution. The role works with large cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class execution of third-party supplier relationships.

The primary means by which the performance of the individual will be assessed is internal business satifisfaction, creating and delivering on procurement strategies, execution of contracts and projects, savings, leadership, and adherence to standards, procedures, and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with IT leaders to develop and drive category strategies that align with their business requirements and the organizational goals.

  • Negotiate and redline contracts with understanding of acceptable and preferred commercial terms and risk tolerance.

  • Collaborate with legal, finance, risk, and information security during supplier and contract reviews.

  • Manage and maintain effective contract and commercial terms with existing suppliers, aimed at reducing risk and achieving market competitive commercial terms to reduce total cost of ownership.

  • Set strategic direction with suppliers, established Supplier qualification criteria, develop contract requirements and master agreements, model total cost of ownership, and negotiate contracts.

  • Liaise with global leads to ensure business representation and regional members defined sourcing strategies, interface with Citi business leaders, and oversee cross regional products.

  • Apply fundamental knowledge of sourcing processes to develop complex sourcing programs, supervise the sourcing process, and prioritize new complex sourcing programs.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of procurement experience with 5+ years technology-focused

  • Proven experience in reporting and analysis.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of eProcurement tools/systems.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving savings goals and other performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
