Responsibilities

Weatherford is looking for an experienced Oil and Gas Services Industry expert with excellent Gas-Lift and Completion acumen having deep technical understanding and know how to support our team of Operation Engineers, Sales Department and more. The position will form the cornerstone for technical information for Gas-Lift applications across Europe and Sub-Sahara Africa.

& Responsibilities:

  • Together with Quality and Operation Excellence, ensure correct Procedures and Work Instruction.

  • Take an active role in PEER reviews together with Quality and Operation Excellence.

    QUALITY

  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System.

  • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.

  • Investigation support -

  • NCR / CPAR

  • Support operations on technical troubleshooting related with hardware/software/procedural management of change.

    OPERATIONS

  • First point of contact for Technical Support and advise in relation to Gas-Lift -

  • Link between location, GZ and GPL technical support

  • Ensure MyAdvisor, WISE and VSES process adhered to and actively used

  • Perform gas-lift simulations

  • Prepare real results, SPE/IADC and similar.

  • Advisor from GZ for new developments and new technologies -

  • Project schedule / Gantt

  • Client communication together with location

  • Internal communication

  • Test program and report

  • Commercial support / input

  • New Technology Intake Request.

    COMMUNICATION

  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.

  • New Technology Developments.

  • Technical support / New technology presentations.

  • Supervisors and Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports.

    FINANCIAL

  • All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses.

  • Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure.

  • Technical writer and support with tender and quote preparations.

  • Technical liaison and support to quotes and unsolicited proposals.

  • Work along side Sales to identify and chose correct equipment and solution for application.

  • Review and advice cost and sales price.

  • Identify technical opportunities, development needs together with Operation and the Sales team.

    PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

  • Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance and business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably Masters degree in Science and Technology.

  • 10 years of Gas-Lift and Completion experience.

  • Broad Gas-Lift and Completion experience

  • Well versed in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.

  • Experience with XaitPorter and Salesforce preferred.

  • Detailed, p roactive and d edicated.

  • Technology development and commerciallisation experience is preferred.

  • This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 25-50%.
