Job Description:

We are looking for a Journeyman-level TS/SCI-cleared Cartographic Analyst. In this role you will work within a government/contractor team environment, providing geospatial support services focusing on Feature Data Production. Future needs and capabilities, as well as developmental assignments, are included.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide  geospatial support services to NGA’s High Resolution Vector Data (HRVD), Multinational Geospatial Co-Production (MGCP) and International Co-Production Activities (bilateral and multi-national partnerships)

  • Assist and provide services to Source Foundation GEOINT (SF), in support of Foundation Data review and production efforts.

  • Provide support towards the HRVD and MGCP data processing needs of NGA. These needs will include the generation of data and metadata compliant with the MGCP Technical Reference Documentation (TRD).

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years experience or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience conducting cartographic finishing and feature extraction experience

  • Knowledge of ESRI-ArcGIS and PLTS

  • Principles and practices of geospatial data creation, conversion, maintenance, and manipulation.

  • Geospatial data sources and metadata documentation standards

  • Cartographic principles, including map design and production.

  • Geospatial analysis techniques, including geo-processing, statistical tools and raster processing.

  • Principles and techniques of GIS database design and data models.

  • GIS software concepts and terminology.

  • Operational characteristics and capabilities of relational database management systems.

    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

    Clearance Requirement:

  • TS/SCI clearance is required, with willingness to obtain a polygraph upon request

  • Access and Investigation must appear in JPAS and be within scope (5 – Years)

    Shift schedule:

  • Currently 2nd shift as directed

    Travel:

  • OCONUS travel may be required to meet/train international partner personnel.

    Salary Range: $60,000+ based on ability to meet or exceed stated requirements
