Job purpose:
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | | | The AV Specialist works closely with the Classroom Technology | | Services team to install, maintain, and support Gonzaga's classroom | | and conference room environments. This position is responsible for | | audiovisual (A/V) equipment installation, software installation, | | validation of custom control systems, repair of instructional | | technology equipment, and related electronic equipment. | | | | | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of experience supporting Crestron or Extron AV systems. Or 7 years of experience if substituting for education requirement.
- Strong knowledge of audio and video signal processing, codecs, and distribution.
- Familiarity with network protocols and IP-based AV systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work indepen ently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
