This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following Corporate Office locations: St. Petersburg, FL, Memphis, TN, Southfield, MI, or Denver, CO

Job Summary:

Raymond James Information Security is seeking a Manager to lead the IAM Engineering Access Management team within the Identity and Access Management group. This is a critical, high-visibility, leadership role, leading a team of security engineers owning platforms and applications critical to the IAM program. The Manager will help set the strategic direction for the identity and access management teams and programs. This position develops the strategy and is responsible for the implementation of the Identity and Access Management product roadmap with goals of risk reduction, business enablement, operational efficiencies, cost reduction, and security and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the access management engineering team ensuring the highest levels of system availability and stability

  • Manages team changes, incidents, and outages to minimize impact to IAM services

  • Aligns team priorities and goals with regulatory, corporate, and system engineering priorities

  • Identifies, develops, and deploys opportunities for system improvements

  • Responsible for relevant IAM product licensing and subscriptions ensuring appropriate coverage with a focus on cost containment

  • Enhance and automate IAM processes and procedures as identified by the IAM Operations team

  • Acts as intermediary and facilitator to help resolve ongoing and/or complex issues

  • Lead identification and implementation of next-generation IAM services and technologies leveraging industry-standard technologies and best practices

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of

  • Experience in systems engineering supporting highly resilient services

  • Experience leading a teams of engineers, contractors, and third-parties to deliver complex interoperable systems

  • Knowledge of IAM and risk management best practices is highly desired

  • Experience in project management, enterprise implementation, strategic planning, business acumen, and change management

  • Experience with the one or more of the following technologies is required: SailPoint IIQ, SecureID, Adaptive Authentication, Splunk, Venafi, Entrust, CA Siteminder, Ping

  • Experience with the following technologies is preferred: CyberArk, Active Directory, Splunk, and InfoBlox, Azure, AWS

  • Financial services industry experiences a plus

Education/Previous Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and ten (10) years of related experience including leadership and management experience or a combination of training, education and experience equivalent to the requirements above

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred

  • In the absence of certifications, Manager must commit to obtain CISSP within 18 months
