Summary:

The Vice President of Cyber and Enterprise IT (EIT) Programs Services will be the principal solutions architect with emphasis on Cyber, EIT and Cloud solutions, and will be responsible specific growth objectives and business development in the Enterprise IT services portfolio. The VP, Cyber and EIT Programs Services will be a sleeves up, working level executive who contributes substantially at the technical and engineering level to programs and who plans/manages larger strategic efforts simultaneously.

  • Manages all portfolio related business operations in highly competitive commercial market segments.

  • Serves as Capture Manager for large EIT, Cyber programs

  • Manages Cyber and EIT program pipelines and BD efforts

  • Manages time between program management, program and engineering support, operations and strategic development efforts that will aggressively further corporate business goals, targets and the achievement of specific strategic objectives

  • Coordinates closely with the CITES President, company Director of Operations, other MIOS operating companies and the Strategic Business Unit staff to ensure synchronization of efforts with company strategic goals and objectives.

  • Provides day-to-day leadership and management to employees and staff within the Cyber and EIT services portfolio.

  • Ensures timely submission of all required reports, CDRLs, deliverables.

  • Contributes to achievement of company business goals, objectives to sustain and grow shareholder equity.

  • Manages and implements performance metrics, and directly supervises measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.

  • Provides timely, accurate and complete delegated reports on the portfolio operating status.

  • Assists in the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

  • Collaborates with the President, Senior Director of Operations, and Director of Information Technology Services in the development and implementation of strategic plans designed to achieve specific annual corporate growth objectives.

  • Motivates and leads a high-performance team; attracts, recruits and retains required members of the team not currently in place.

  • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the Cyber, and EIT services portfolio.

  • Represents CITES with major customers, business partners, public forums and speaking engagements.

  • Executes programs and proposals within cost, scope, and schedule constraints to successfully achieve required metrics.

  • Establishes and maintains positive customer and employee relations.

  • Employs sound principles of customer relationship management with external customers and business partners.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the leadership and management of all portfolio related operations.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR Equivalent; Graduate degree preferred

  • 15 Years of experience in any combination of progressively increasing experience in the following areas:

  • Executive level cyber and EIT services experience in a multifaceted and diverse technical portfolio

  • Executive level capture management experience on large programs

  • Program Management experience with multiple simultaneous ongoing programs that consist on average of 300-400 FTES or larger portfolios

  • Systems Architecture and Solutions Architect experience very important

  • Technical Operations Director

  • Government Contracting

  • Large Army and/or DOD Cyber, EIT Program Experience

  • PMP Certified (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance

  • Proficient with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint), and Outlook.

  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Must be able to multi-task in a high stress, performance-based environment.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

  • Must have the ability to travel as requested or required based on business needs.

  • Ability to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

  • Experience with business development and start-up environments.

  • Extensive high-level relationship building expertise.
