We are looking for a Shop Supervisor, who has experience working with carpentry, cabinets or flooring. You must have experience overseeing a group of 5 people or more. If interested please call Chris C at 631-582-3807 or email your resume to chris.caiozzo@randstadusa.com.

Responsibilities

Execute production schedule as directed by Operations Director. Regular communication with Operations Director regarding job progress and quality

control results as determined on a project-by-project basis.

Supervise and direct scheduled shift to minimize downtime to optimize output to

meet the set standard for production quantity and quality.

Expert knowledge of finish products and finishing tasks, processes, and

applications.

Ensure management control sample storage for current or completed projects. Manage Quality Control audits for defect and repairs as needed throughout the

finishing process.

Maintain and adjust finish shop equipment to maximize production and minimize

downtime.

Arrange shop shift personnel layout, and staffing logistics/schedule to increase output for production.

Ensure finish shop employees follow company safety policy including but not limited to PPE & equipment usage.

Monitor inventory usage of finish supplies, scan out supplies from inventory per project.

Generate finish shop supply requisitions timely in Go Canvas to ensure materials are available when required.

Prepare tallies of wood inventory for projects and submit Go- Canvas reports.

Submit Daily Production reports daily. Perform other duties as assigned.
