BeiGene Senior Manager, Commercial Learning and Development in San Mateo, California

General Description:

The Senior Manager will design and deliver learning programs for our new and existing Hematology Sales and Commercial team. Maximizes account manager and field team effectiveness by systematically assessing training needs and developing appropriate solutions. Designing quality training programs within budget limitations. Continuous evaluation of program effectiveness to provide quality world-class training. Additional responsibilities of this role are dependent on business and departmental needs.

Essential Functions of the job:

Delivers innovative training plan that prepares BeiGene’s Account Managers and the larger Commercial organization for long-term success in the hematology marketplace

Delivers world-class training for new hires and tenured representatives throughout the calendar year including Initial Sales Training, Division Meetings, Regional Sales Meetings, Launch Meetings and National Meetings

Partners with Marketing, Market Access, IT, Commercial Operations and Sales leadership as a performance consultant to determine training needs

Develops training programs that are based on quantitative and qualitative marketplace, customer, and employee insights

Education Required:

Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred:

MBA, Master’s, PharmD, Advanced Practice Provider and/or Training Certifications

Qualifications Required:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in hematology sales or training demonstrating success in the following:

Strong facilitation skills and understanding of adult learning principles to engage adult learners

Ability to organize end-to-end training and onboarding for Commercial new hires

Ability to translate clinical concepts with marketing message to execute learning curricula

Experience in selling and training oncology/hematology sales teams

Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience in Promotional & Regulatory Committee submission/approval process and maintenance of approved materials

Active membership in LTEN and/or ATD

Certification in training capabilities, including but not limited to: project management, facilitation, adult learning, instructional design, virtual training, change management, performance consulting, sales consulting, training technologies etc.

Computer Skills:

Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Vyond, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Smartsheets a plus.

Travel:

Remote role with travel dependent on business need/environment
