Description Management Resources is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accounting Manager with manufacturing industry experience for a 1-2 month project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Standard Cost, COGS and inventory valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Price Variances analysis

• Validate the current multi-level BOMs to ensure accurate

• Calculate overhead rates and ensure COGS calculated correctly

• Complete cost rolls on a quarterly basis

• Validate inventory is property recorded and valued on the balance sheet

• Prepare adjusting entries for month close as necessary

Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

• Experience with manufacturing environment preferred

• Experience with QuickBooks Online system preferred

• Several years of experience in cost accounting or related financial roles, with a proven track record of success.

• Proficiency in cost accounting principles and techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software and ERP systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

• Leadership and team management experience.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
