Job Summary and Qualifications

In collaboration with the Division Vice President of Care Experience and Bioethics, the Project Coordinator plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or and objectives are accomplished in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Methodist Healthcare System.

What you will do in this role:

• Oversees all aspects of the day-to-day management of care experience and bioethics projects, monitors and coordinates work to ensure that projects are completed according to priorities, operational metrics, schedules, and within budgets.

• Communicates with and updates appropriate team members of old and/or new projects and their status.

• Collects and analyzes patient experience and bioethics data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains project records and statistical information.

• Maintains accurate records of users engaged in various software platforms (Press Ganey, CipherHealth, etc.) to ensure appropriate dissemination of updates, information, and other data.

• Works with interdisciplinary teams, brainstorms and problem solves and participates in project planning, including bioethics education, quality and patient experience summits, and other process improvement initiatives. 6. Maintains confidentiality and discretion when working with sensitive patient and staff information.

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum Education and Experience: Baccalaureate degree. At least three years project management experience in healthcare preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership skills. Must be computer literate with moderate to expert level in Word, Excel, Pivot Tables, and Power Point.
