You Have: * Experience with stochastic computational modeling, data science, and machine learning applied to disease forecasting * Experience in the development and implementation of advanced disease transmission models, including compartmental models, agent-based models, and renewal models, with a goal of nowcasting, forecasting, biological inference, and scenario exploration * Experience with programming languages, including Julia, Python, or R, and probabilistic programming packages, including Turing.jl, Numpy, JAX, Numpyro, and Stan for Bayesian inference, computational modeling efficiency, parameter estimation, and model validation * Experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for efficient code deployment * Experience with presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including nontechnical stakeholders * Experience in scientific computing and high-performance computing (HPC), demonstrating proficiency in designing and implementing complex simulations and data-intensive computations on distributed computing architectures * Knowledge of code management standards, best practices, team coding, and version control systems, including GitHub * Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements * Master's degree in Mathematics, Epidemiology, or Computational Statistics

Nice If You Have: * Experience with Azure Batch or cloud-based computational platforms for scalable and parallelized data processing and modeling tasks * Ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including within an automated pipeline deployment * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, epidemiologists, and mathematicians * Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills * Possession of excellent collaborative skills * Doctorate degree in Mathematics, Epidemiology, or Computational Statistics
