Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. The Senior Systems Engineer/Administrator - IT will serve and provide timely support for system anomalies and contingencies for a customer within the intelligence community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Systems Engineer tasking under Operations and Maintenance, Pre-Deployment Support, and Post-Deployment Support of technical collection capabilities.

  • Provide support via expert scientific and engineering advice, community expertise, and operational functions.

  • Maintain responsibility for the branch’s network and communication modernization efforts, including interaction with other branches and/or divisions within the organization.

  • Support strategic goals to meet the mission for designing, engineering, maintaining, modernizing, and documenting technical collection systems and programs.

  • Promote optimal performance of all infrastructure services, thereby decreasing service downtime and increasing mission success.

  • Prepare and ensure the timely submission of all contract data requirements (CDRLs).

  • Assist PM with the preparation of annual employee evaluations.

  • Assist with backend troubleshooting issues and solutions in circumstances where other support offices are unable to provide a solution to networking issues.

  • Complete company and customer annual training requirements as requested.

  • Record labor hours daily according to company policies and procedures.

  • Provide supervisory duties as needed.

  • Travel locally as required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in a related field.

  • 9+ years of related work experience is required.

  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware and software in a distributed environment

  • Experience in cloud-based network solutions and virtual server administration

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware/software issues and familiar with cross-domain data transfer systems, like Radiant Mercury and NiFi

  • Experience in software/hardware security accreditation of IT systems and in setting up physical and soft IT networks for data collection from remote sites

  • Proficient with scripting/programming in Java, Python, Putty, UNIX, or CIC++ is required

  • Must have or be qualified for DoD 8570 certification, specifically IAT Level II certified

  • Must have environment certification for Windows and Linux.

  • Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain an SCI.

  • Must pass CI polygraph and be granted SCI eligibility to start.
