Responsibilities

  • Take up E2E ownership of deliverables and produce viable solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive features to delivery.

  • Play a significant architect role in shaping our software architecture.

  • Understand both technology and business to know the right tradeoffs to make.

  • Develop and maintain front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.

  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of large-scale systems.

  • Ensure availability and latency needs addressed by engineering reliability in software and systems.

  • Actively participate in code and design reviews to maintain high-quality code.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

  2. Proficiency and demonstrated experience in front-end technologies such as modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) or HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in architecting, building, and maintaining highly available services in a large service-oriented architecture (SOA).

  • Full-stack developer with proficiency in JavaScript, React, Typescript etc.

  • Good understanding of UX/UI principles.

  • Exceptional coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications.

  • Excellence in software engineering practices, coding and skilled foundation in data structures, algorithms, skilled with testing, debugging and analytical skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex problems, think critically, and develop creative solutions to challenges encountered during development.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year. Relocation support is not provided for this role.
