Data Analyst - Quantico, VA (3254)

Eagle Harbor, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Data Analyst in Quantico, VA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies optimizing statistical efficiency and quality.

• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies optimizing statistical efficiency and quality.

• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems.

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Position Requirements:

• Fully adjudicated Top Secret clearance.

• Baccalaureate degree required in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or in another field with demonstrable coursework in these areas.

• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.

• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), programming (e.g., XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).

• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).

• Must be able to communicate fluently verbally and in writing, in English, at the bachelor’s degree level, be able to understand and execute complex verbal and written instructions in English, be able to express complex issues verbally and in writing in English.

• Must be competent in operating an IBM-style microcomputer in Windows and/or UNiplexed Information Computing System (UNIX) environments.

• Must be able to discuss complex technical issues in English, using a telephone.

• Must be competent with Microsoft Office products in a Windows environment and be competent with computer file management in Windows and/or UNIX environments (creating and deleting files and directories, finding, renaming, copying, and moving files, etc.).
