HP Inc. SW Business Operations Program Manager in Porto Alegre, Brazil

Functional Description:

The Consumer Services and Solutions (CSS) organization is driving the transformation of HP into a digital brand. This position is within the Consumer Services and Solutions (CSS) Strategic Planning & Operations Team and will play a critical role in Business Operations for the CSS SW and Engineering organization.

Included in this role are the following responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management: managing relationship, onboarding process, training, and managing strategic programs related to geo-location

  • Vendor/License Management

  • Prepares project plans, objectives, and deliverables

  • Ensuring compliance with facilities regulations, including Information Assurance Security Testing (IAST), Cyber Security.

  • Supporting Documentation of Processes and Tools

  • Workforce Management: Generate metrics and reports to forecast and support workforce allocation, planning and SW Cap information.

It´s expected that this role contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically 8-12 years work experience in technology strategy & operations, technology transformation, or consulting

  • Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.

Required Skillset and Mindset:

  • Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills

  • Excellent project management skills, including project structuring. Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives.

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metric for engineering development.

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.

  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.

  • Someone with a process-oriented mindset adept at utilizing data, insights, and reporting to foster a culture of optimization.
