Robert Half Financial Analyst in Portland, Oregon

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the commercial real estate sector based in Portland, Oregon. The successful candidate will join our team to provide financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and research services. This role will involve collaboration across all departments and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, audit, and maintain financial models, including forecasting lease, operating expenses, capital improvements, and debt assumptions

• Regularly review financial data inputs and collaborate with the accounting team as necessary

• Assist with quarterly and annual reporting, as well as lender reporting and internal valuations for Asset Manager review

• Conduct research and monitor market information for comparable properties

• Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenarios for presentations to internal and external stakeholders

• Monitor portfolio performance against KPI’s and asset strategies, and evaluate performance

• Support the underwriting and evaluation of tenant leases for new and existing tenants

• Gather and prepare documentation for internal and external partners related to asset data requests, improvements, assessments, valuations, and tax appeals

• Participate in due diligence processes for potential portfolio acquisitions or dispositions

• Foster internal collaboration across all departments and externally with various stakeholders.

Skills:

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Finance

• Proficiency in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, Audit - Financial

• Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and Budgeting - Forecasting. Requirements

• Ability to conduct Ad Hoc Financial Analysis is vital

• Strong Excel experience - reporting and Macros

• Experience in Audit - Financial is necessary

• Familiarity with Commercial Real Estate is required

• Skills in Budgeting and Forecasting are highly desirable

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively are required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary

• A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
