Become a NextGen ERP Business Transformation & Readiness, Advisor to help oversee NextGen Work Management Initiation & Planning efforts! You will serve as the contributor on implementation teams and single point of contact for NextGen design workshops as well as participate in the development of tools, data readiness efforts and processes needed to ensure a successful implementation of Initiation, Plan, Schedule, Execution, and Close (IPSEC) principles in Work Management for Transmission & Distribution. This position is expected to be a subject matter expert in all aspects related to the Initiation and Planning processes within the IPSEC model for T&D.

  • Work with team to lead functional and technical landscape solution design for one or more complex business process domains such as Finance, Human Capital Management – Time Management, Logistics, Supply Planning, Procurement, Asset Management, Work Management, etc.

  • Work with senior advisors and managers to conduct thorough evaluations of existing business processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement effective process improvement strategies, including process redesign, automation, and optimization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure process improvements align with business goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvements to ensure they are achieving the desired outcomes.

  • Develop and deliver training materials to ensure employees are knowledgeable about process improvements and can effectively utilize new tools and systems.

The Essentials

  • Seven or more years of experience advising and recommending courses of action on process improvements, operational plans or business strategy.

  • Five or more years of experience facilitating workshops with various functional teams and end user stakeholders.

The Preferred

  • Experience and knowledge of T&D Work Management functions in relation to the IPSEC model.

  • Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or other related field.

  • Experience working in Transmission, Distribution, and/or Sub Station business units.

  • Experience in collaboration workshops to design process improvements and implementing the results.

You should know …

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
