DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The ESL Instructor will administer and interpret assessments, provide orientation, develop curriculum and lesson plans, provide classroom instruction both in person and virtually, maintain student records according to contractual guidelines, and support students in transitioning to post -- secondary education or training, employment or other personal goal. This person may be located at a Goodwill location or community site.

Duties will also include but are not limited to: * Research, outline and plan curriculum and lesson plans around departmental and contractual standards. * Instruct using a variety of delivery methods including lecture, question and answer, small groups, collaborative instruction, and self-directed learning and motivate students through classroom contextualized instruction to learn basic life, academic and employability skills. * Provide instruction in person or virtually. * Gear instruction towards preferred learning styles of students and enforce classroom and program rules and policies. * Manage day to day responsibilities of a classroom including conflict resolution and maintaining a safe learning environment. * Measure and interpret student progress through the administration of informal and formal assessments and meet with students to discuss results.

External Hiring Range: $18.25 - $18.98/Hour

Qualifications:  * Bachelors Degree (Education/Teaching or related) and 1 year teaching, tutoring or facilitating instruction required.
