U.S. Mint Program Assistant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Summary This position is located at US Mint,Philadelphia Mint-MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT/Plant Mgr PA/Office of Admin/Coining Division. As a Program Assistant, you will provide technical program support work to improve the productivity of the organization. The Coining Division is responsible for the production of domestic circulating coins. Such production activities include blanking, annealing, upsetting, stamping, counting, packaging, and condemning. Responsibilities As a Program Assistant, you will: Reconcile between systems and physical inventory. Manages all raw material received and consumed during the manufacturing processes. Analyze work activity of production floor personnel to guarantee accuracy and resolve any possible discrepancies between the production reports and the automated data collection system (ADCS), Penny Racking System (PRS), Coil Racking System (CRS) with Enterprise Resource Maintain Oracle which integrates internal and external management information across the entire Mint organization, accounting, manufacturing, and marketing. The accuracy is vital to the flow of information between all business units inside the Mint organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines. A one-year probationary period may be required. Specialized experience for this position includes: -Experience providing technical support and assisting with programs in support of improving productivity within a facility. Examples of such experience could include: -Assisting with procurement/contracting activities relating to program support; OR -Assisting with compiling, summarizing, organizing and presenting findings to management; OR -Communicating professionally, both orally and in writing, with peers, management and customers In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-8 you must have been at the GS-7 level for 52 weeks.
