NY1498188 Broadwell Hospitality is recruiting for Lifeguards for the Splash Indoor Water Park

Responsibilities - Assumes responsibility for zone of coverage while lifeguarding - Maintains knowledge of entire waterpark operation including all rules and regulations regarding the safe use of attractions - Reports all incidents, safety concerns, guest issues to Aquatics Leadership Team through appropriate channels - Ensures maximum guest safety - Informed and confident in ability to handle missing child alert - Understands all emergency plans and acts accordingly - Maintains cleanliness of the waterpark including all front and back of house areas(pool deck, offices, restrooms, locker area and all other areas

Special Requirements - Keep certifications current through monthly in-service training as required(4 hours per month) - Attend all mandatory meetings and in-service training as scheduled - Must maintain all Jeff Ellis and Associates screening requirements to be eligible for testing - Must pass the Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard course prior to working as a lifeguard - Must pass the Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Instructor Course prior to leading an instructor course - Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and bend, kneel, reach and push and pull - Ability to swim a minimum of 50 yards non stop using breaststroke or crawl methods - Retrieve a 10 lb brick from deepest body of water - Exit out of a pool without use of a ladder

Age Requirement - 16 years and up

Work Hours - Availability to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and on call
