Lockheed Martin is a world leader in providing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Logistics Information Systems (LIS) solutions for military factory, depot, intermediate, and operational domains around the world. Our group is growing and we are are adding to our experienced Business Development team to accelerate opportunities in our pipeline. This position will support the current BD team and lead assigned opportunities through successful awards.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience on defense acquisitions both from industry and customer perspective.

Working technical and domain knowledge about military maintenance requirements.

Lead roles on new business efforts such as opportunity qualification, proposals, campaigns, and strategy planning

Cross functional team experience on programs and/or proposals

Strong communication skills, both written and spoken

Desired Skills:

Military or government acquisition and/or user experience in maintenance domain.

Domain expertise on ATS and/or LIS solutions for defense applications.

Familiarity with Lockheed Martin new business processes.

Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret customers' needs and requirements and relate them back to programmatic processes.

Strong financial planning skills

Strong decision-making ability

Team Player – effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives

Deal closer – highly effective at bringing tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
