Job Description:

Unified Communications Systems Administrator

Our work depends on Systems Administrator joining our team to administer and maintains voice, video, and/or data communications systems with focus on Microsoft operating systems and software solutions.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience administrating network services (DNS, RADIUS, DHCP, WSUS, etc.) deployed on Windows Server in an Active Directory environment.

Experience administrating aspects of Microsoft Active Directory; users, group policies, security groups, application authentication by LDAP, etc.

Knowledgeable of and experience with hypervisor technologies commonly deployed within the industry.

Manages the usage and performance of voice, video, and/or data communications systems.

Maintains system security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.

Independently provides technical interpretation and solutions in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.

Troubleshoots system hardware and software specific issues.

Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software.

Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.

Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.

Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.

Independently ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.

Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users.

Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies.

● DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 4+ years of experience

The likely salary range for this position is $72,176 - $87,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
