ROLE PURPOSE

This role is a critical and key role that focuses on problem solving, proactive communication and client relationship management. It focuses on supporting and expanding key relationships- internal and external, while collaboratively managing the site with regional/global team and the support from Japan Platform team. Key skills required are a strategic mindset, deep understanding of the overall facilities management, and a commitment to high-quality customer service. This role will also program manage key deliverables supporting projects in alignment with WREF and overlook FM operations of Japan.

This role requires both Japanese and English fluency (written and spoken).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: include but not limited to

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as the main point of contact. Understand client’s objectives, needs, and challenges to provide effective solutions. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell CBRE's services based on client requirements.

Team Management:

Create a high performing culture for the team and coach the team to achieve the best results. Engage the team and help them achieve all targets with over achievement.

Account Management:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EHS & Compliance, Finance, Communication, Engineering and Project Management and Fleet Management, F&B to meet client expectations.

Strategic Planning:

Plan, develop and execute strategic plans for client, aligned with their short-term and long-term business goals.

Identify opportunities and provide innovative solutions to enhance client portfolios.

Vendor Management:

Manage vendors and ensure good relations while holding them accountable to getting things done.

Financial Management:

Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and financial reporting for clients.

Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost-saving initiatives to maximize client value.

Contract Management:

Lead negotiation processes with vendors, and partners to secure favorable terms for clients.

Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Communication:

Provide regular status updates and performance reports to clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Effectively communicate project progress, milestones, and potential risks to stakeholders. Lead comm cells and monthly operational governance calls.

Managing Agent Contracts:

Manage partners and vendors in developing high quality contracts and hold them accountable through rigorous KPI management.

OTHERS

  • Must have ability to work with the team and train people on various subjects, structure the project governance model and work together with regional counterparts of WREF & CBRE.

  • Lead/facilitate meetings with (WREF) Stakeholders to ensure an understanding of the requirements, and jointly develop a change adoption plan.

  • Single point of contact for governance to manage KPI’s, CPI’s in line with the contractual requirement

  • Oversee team ground level execution in accordance with WREF requirement on project plans, tools, and methods, and support resource planning and support acquisition & transitions.

  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements

Skills, Experience, Qualifications, and knowledge required:

  • Minimum 10+ experience in the RE & FM domain with program management expertise of 5+ years with a knowledge of the FM & RE domain

  • Strong communication skills to be able to communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong conflict management/resolution skills and ability to influence team members to meet key outcomes.

  • Ability to analyze data and present strategic insights to clients.

  • Customer-focused mindset with exceptional relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding client expectations.

  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively in cross-functional environments.

  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards of documentation, processes, and control environment.

  • Flexibility (Openness to Change) – Adapts effectively to changing plans, domains, and priorities; Is open and flexible when faced with changing project constraints.

  • Is comfortable with ambiguity – Stays on target to complete goals regardless of obstacles or adverse circumstances.

  • Experience on client life cycle management (CLM) Projects

  • Practical knowledge on data analysis tools e.g. PowerBI, Tableau

  • Detailed knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Smartsheet’s
