Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) helps assist customers in stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments, in the design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products, services and technologies and understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the developed solution.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing client-focused delivery of high-quality solutions and business outcomes. Qualifications

Qualifications

Technical background in IT services is essential, along with preferred cloud experience (Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP). You will have demonstrated skills leading teams designing and developing technology in the area(s) of specialization, to solve business problems and help customers enhance existing applications.

Your expertise should fall into one of the following functional areas: 

Data Platform/ Data estate migration experience : Experience in data transformation toolchain, knowledge on data migration patterns i.e.: Postgresql, Azure SQL, Oracle experience (would be a big plus), Sybase experience (would be a big plus)

Specific Azure Experience : Azure SQL including PaaS, MI and Hyperscale, Azure Synapse Analytics/Fabric Azure Cosmos DB, Oracle on VM’s (Would be big plus)

D evelopment & Application Lifecycle Management : experience developing enterprise-level solutions and implementing secure and scalable applications using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Cloud development / migration experience is essential.

DevOps & Infrastructure as Code : expertise with software collaboration and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins. Infrastructure deployments using Terraform, ARM Templates, YAML, PowerShell, Python or other scripting language, CI/CD, Unit/UI Testing

Additional experience / qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design experience (essential)

• Relational database expertise (SQL experience is a plus) (essential)

• Net / .Net Core (WCF/WebApi/MVC) (preferred)

• Design Patterns and UML (preferred)

• Technical knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas is preferred:

• Skills on projects targeting a variety of form factors (e.g. Mobile, IoT)

• Development Languages (e.g. C#, Java)

• API development and design

• SPA and web application development design

• Fluency in English is required
