Advanced Systems Design DevOps Engineer - 2171 in Montgomery, Alabama
Advanced Systems Design is seeking a DevOps Engineer for our client located in Montgomery, AL.
This position is onsite in Montgomery, AL and requires in-person availability starting day 1.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Build Engineer to develop and maintain our CI/CD environment, ensuring stable code repositories and automated build processes.
Develops and maintains the build environment, the source code control system, and the issue tracking systems.
Creates and tests builds, resolves issues, applies labels to files, and communicates build status.
Responsible for building scripts and installation procedures.
Proactively identifies and implements procedures to streamline the build process which may drive the development and maintenance of an automated build process with automatic notification of build and unit test failure problems to responsible engineers.
This position may require some after-hour support for planned and on-call activities.
The individual will be required to work closely with different groups like application development and infrastructure and will be responsible for cross-training backup resources.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of system administration of Web application including at least 3 years of AWS experience.
At least 3 years of work experience related to release management using ADF(Azure Data Factory) environments
Experience working with the pipelines in ADF (Azure Data Factory) environments
Experience migrating Pipelines and components from one environment to another environment using Azure DevOps
Experience with Azure CI/CD processes and procedures as part of SDLC
Analyze and write inline scripts for pipeline migration
Build, Deploy, and Manage Websites, Apps or Processes on AWS
Experience with Docker platform for building, testing, and deploying applications.
Experience with Bamboo for Continuous Integration
Experience with Bitbucket for Source Code Management
Preferred Qualifications:

Must be able to turn customer requirements into platform solutions
Must demonstrate sound analytical skills
Ability to document complex processes
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
