Job Description

Enterprise Analytics and Customer Experience is hiring for a Digital Insights Analyst to accelerate the reporting, analytics, and insights environment for the digital money movement team. This individual must be comfortable championing and promoting a data-driven culture while working closely with product teams to advocate for the use of insights that will assist with providing an improved customer experience.

This individual will be responsible for day-to-day reporting, dashboarding, and ad-hoc insights and analytics. They will be an active member of a cross functional team where they will align and prioritize work to meet the needs of product owners. This analyst will specifically support business stakeholders responsible for a variety of money movement services including Zelle, Bill Pay, Mobile Check Deposit and Transfers.

This individual should feel at ease creating complex queries and extracting large, raw datasets from various sources, merging and transforming raw data into usable analytic structures, benchmarking results to known standards, and resolving differences across a broad range of data sources. They must feel comfortable with conducting quantitative analysis, automation, generating dashboards that are easy for end users to interpret, as well as effectively communicate and disseminate findings, insights and recommendations to stakeholders. They must have strong technical and visualization skills, with the ability to understand the business goals and needs, and to be committed to delivering recommendations that will guide strategic decisions.

This role requires a high degree of strength in independent planning and execution of tasks, while also being able to communicate effectively and participate as part of a cross functional team. This individual should also possess a strong willingness to learn, teach and will aid in leading change across a matrixed organization. They will be able to readily adapt to change, foster strong relationships across internal analytics teams as well as with stakeholders, and be able to simplify complexity by successfully utilizing data analytics tools & techniques all to enable a better customer experience within the money movement platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in financial services (with knowledge of money movement platforms a plus)

· Advanced Degree in analytics, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field

· 5-7 years of experience in reporting and business intelligence, demonstrating a progressive increase in responsibility and scope

· Demonstrated project management and organization skills

· Impeccable attention to detail, while being comfortable with data ambiguity

· Ability to promote agile methods and ways of working to better collaborate and deliver results to our customers

· Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization

· Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information concisely through written & verbal communication; experience hosting conversations with business individuals

· Ability to work and thrive in collaborative work environment as well as independently to drive results

· Demonstrated advanced understanding & application of complex query building using SQL, python, and/or R

· Intermediate to advanced user of data integration tools such as Microsoft SSIS, Alteryx, Talend, Informatica, or other

· Experience querying & creating data sets within database technologies such as Greenplum, Hadoop, Netezza, DB2, SQL Server, etc.

· Experience with Azure Synapse or any other cloud platforms

· Expert user of analytics data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

· Expert in visual storytelling and presentation, including PowerPoint and other presentation tools

· Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics tool, or experience with web tagging

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $90,100.00 - $106,000.00 - $116,600.00
