Amazon Senior Program Manager, Trade Compliance Policy - EU 3P Compliance in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

This Senior Program Manager will work on multiple legislation workstreams and have the opportunity to develop and execute customer-focused initiatives. You will partner with teams like Trade Legal, Global Trade Services (GTS) and Public Policy to (i) identify and analyze business impact of upcoming regulatory changes, (ii) support our advocacy efforts and (iii) drive external simplification efforts for Sellers across Europe while identifying ways to innovate within our business.

You will get to work at the strategic level (influencing senior stakeholders and creating bold plans) and at the tactical level (analyzing data and solving problems). The ideal candidate is able to creatively problem solve, brings strong analytical & writing skills and can successfully manage and influence others.

Key job responsibilities

• Support the definition and rollout of EU 3P Trade Compliance simplification strategy, launching the program among Trade related areas across EU / UK marketplaces.

• Manage the identification and tracking of upcoming Trade legislation impacting EU3P business, supporting assessment and reporting on the business impact.

• Collaborate with Public Policy teams to influence forward looking strategy based on upcoming regulatory changes.

• Own and develop KPI’s/metrics/goals to measure program performance and compliance.

• Develop reports, dashboards and metrics which distill complex data into actionable insights for business teams.

• Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams and external service providers to support Trade Compliance Policy initiatives.

• Provide direction within internal product and technology teams to influence systems, product designs and services required to meet Compliance Simplification program objectives.

• Participate in other Compliance Simplification initiatives and programs as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Minimum of master’s degree in economics, business, engineering and/or relevant field of study

  • Experience in program management, product management or consulting

  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders such as Business, Legal, Operations and Tech

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment, to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels.

  • Bias for action and managing priorities

  • Comfortable manipulating data in order to find insights and build a strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Trade Legal and/or Compliance topics

  • Experience in eCommerce

  • History of success working with teams and customers from Europe, China and US
