This position is for a PCA/CNA in Winston, Choctaw, Lowndes, Grenada, Attala, Oktibbeha, Carroll, Webster, and Montgomery counties.

Duties and Responsibilities: Provides services of activity of daily living in the patient's home in accordance with agency standards and applicable laws and regulations. Ensures that patients receive the highest possible quality of care. Mouth & dental care. Shaving. Finger & toe nail care (No Cutting!). Grooming hair -- shampooing, combing, oiling. Bathing or bed bath -- showering or tub (partial or complete). Helping with dressing. Helps with toileting -- bed pan, commode/chair, or urinal (emptying & cleaning). Reminds client to take medication. Helps with eating.

Education and Experience: Prefers a high school graduate or GED but not required. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and write adequately to complete required forms and reports of visits. Must possess a valid Driver's license, have access to reliable transportation, up-to-date automobile insurance and automobile registration. A Background Check is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: A Pre-employment physical & TB Skin test is required. Must be physically able to perform the job tasks required and assurance that communicable diseases of major public health concern are not present, as verified by a physician. Must have no physical/mental impairments to prevent lifting, transferring, or providing any other assistance to patients/clients.
