Responsibilities and Expectations: We are looking for a skilled Painter to join our team. The painter will be responsible for the taping, painting and polishing of electric motors to prepare motor for final shipment. Responsibilities may include: Prepping of parts (taping, scuffing to make sure paint adheres to part). Proper use, cleaning and maintenance of spray gun. Knowledge of proper ratios to mix paint. Maintain safety paint log. Maintaining of filters for Volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Properly trained with hoist and safe lifting practices. Ensure paint and supporting materials are stocked. Qualifications and Competencies: Must be clean shaven for respirator fit Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful. High school diploma or equivalent course work in skilled crafts or trades training. Must be a hands-on person capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to use mechanical tools, hand tools, electrical test equipment, measuring instruments, and be able to read blueprints.
