Summary:The Postal Supervisor will direct, supervise, manage, and control all activities related to the Official Mail Center, Postal Service Centers, and Central Mail Room at Offices at Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland, Lackland Training Annex and Port San Antonio.

Supervise Postal Team in the performance of their duties to plan, schedule, and coordinate projects to repair, alter and renovated building structure and installed equipment.
Establish Standard Operating Procedures.
Implement policies and procedures.
Coordinate and control the work
Establish Quality Control Standards for end products.
Promote Safety and Security Awareness.
Ensure all functions are in accordance with operational plans for safety, fire prevention, emergency evacuation, and mishaps.
Evaluate subordinate personnel and initiate and approve all personnel actions.
Submit requested reports as required by client/management.
Attend weekly program management and monthly operations meetings
- Maintain neat and orderly files.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports per the contract deliverables and as requested by customer.
Review ongoing costs to ensure operations are accomplished within assigned budget.
Provide input for long-range planning.
Monitor methods and procedures employed to ensure conformance with contract policies and government regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
Supervise a staff of up to 15 individuals
Maintains 100% accountability for all assigned staff.
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
2 years’ experience in postal operations.
Must be able to be involved in prolonged standing, walking, or lifting of weights up to 70 pounds.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s license and be deemed insurable under company policy.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read, write and receive written and/or verbal instructions in English and to communicate information clearly and concisely, using written and verbal skills.
Ability to use good judgment when performing job functions.
Ability to travel
Must have working knowledge of computers and the ability to use commercial software programs within the Microsoft Suite.
Must be loyal, trustworthy, and honest.
Proficient in Excel, required.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian customers.
