Role Summary :

This person will be responsible to service / calibrate control valves as well as assembly of new control valves.

Job Responsibilities :

• To trouble shoot and conduct repair works to customers’ valves, actuators or positioners.

• To manage customers’ scheduled service shutdown and work as a team to ensure that the shutdown schedule is met.

• To be able to calibrate both analogue, digital & or all other types of positioner.

• Perform dismantle and assemble of valves / actuators as well as repair jobs.

• Able to work independently and yet as a team player with all the other colleagues from all

• To be able to assemble new valves / actuators and capable to calibrate these valves to meet customers’ requirements.

• Ensure good housekeeping and adopt a safe work attitude. Must comply to corporate and regulatory safety requirements.

• Ensure Safety regulations are enforced

• Timely submittal of field service reports.

• Take on additional duties as and when instructed.

Requirements :

• Diploma in Instrumentation Control Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of hands on experience in flow control equipment, preferably in control valves.

• Good planning & problem-solving skills.

• Able to read & understand technical & or schematic drawings.

• Able to speak basic English language

• Computer literate and able to work on e-mail

• Candidates who able to operate calibration tools such as the handheld 375, NI Configurator, Profiler & have knowledge of DCS and HART, Profibus & Field Bus positioners will be added advantage
