Job Description

The Clinical Technology team, the digitally focused arm of Clinical Innovation, is on a mission to change the aesthetic medicine research and development landscape. The Director of Product and Innovation will report to the Clinical Technology Lead and be responsible for driving the team’s overall product and innovation strategy and delivery. Leading a team and working in partnership with the Director of Data Science and Engineer, you will define product vision, develop market strategies, and ensure the successful execution of product development, release and integration.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Identify emerging market trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes to inform product innovation and strategic decisions.

  • Lead and mentor a team of product/product managers and coordinators, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster a culture of innovation and high-performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams, including clinical development, data management, medical affairs, health economics outcomes research, regulatory affairs and more to identify product and service opportunities.

  • Drive the development and implementation of product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on opportunities measured by impact and other key performance metrics.

  • Develop and execute regulatory and compliance-based strategies that drive technology and innovative service adoption across R&D.

  • Scale technology platform and services across R&D, delivering a world class customer experience.

  • Improve and optimize processes to continuously move the team forward.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 12+ years of product development and/or product management experience.

  • 8+ years of experience managing a high performing team.

  • 4+ years of experience in life science or other highly regulated industries.

  • SaaS and/or PaaS experience preferred.

  • Experience working in a startup environment preferred.

  • Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills to make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and nurture partnerships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to executive stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated track record of driving product innovation, successfully launching and scaling products (mix of B2B, B2C, and B2B2C experience preferred).

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
