The Azure Core Quality team is focused on ensuring customer workloads are never aware or impacted by any change in Azure. This requires ensuring high quality releases at fast pace across Compute, Networking, Storage areas of Azure. We are also focused on improving customer experience around detection, mitigation, and avoidance of issues due to Azure infrastructure to ensure customers are minimally impacted during production service disruptions.

Responsibilities

• You will learn to understand one or more success criteria of a feature. You’ll also help identify short-term investment opportunities and help engage others for success of the feature.

• You will collect performance metrics and form hypotheses to incrementally improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also learn to manage customer communities and help build trust with targeted customers.

• You will create strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to enable quality and on time delivery.  

• You will collaborate with key roles including core team of engineers, applied researchers, and others to deliver full Microsoft value to customers. 

• You will ensure that internal teams and leadership are coordinated and feel confident, informed, and efficient.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

• OR equivalent experience.

• 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

• OR equivalent experience.

• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

• 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
