The Team: We at Localization are an integral part of creating new listings and enabling customers to shop in a language of preference globally. Every year, we help in launching new marketplaces and localize billions of products for Amazon worldwide. The site at Hyderabad manages Programs and Operations for the WW Localization team.

The Role: We are looking for an exceptional Program Manager to join Hyd team and drive Programs/processes in non-tech domain of project/program management.. We expect this leader to enhance both the value of services as well as its delivery to our customers, by deploying (but not restricted to) new processes and implementing consistent small improvements that compound over time to produce big results. What do we expect you to do? A PM in HYD ASINLoc would support Attribute space end to end across a) behavior setup where PM will manage & oversee attribute onboarding, MT/UMP & starling enablement b)Attribute coverage improvement to enable high quality listings across 390+ marketplaces & 35LoPs post updated attribute configurations through re-localizations, onboarding new attributes, enabling starling on all relevant attributes and storing signals for auto-selection The PM will own and monitor throughput & latency ensuring ASINLoc meets its 99% SLA commitments by highlighting anomalies and coordinating fixes across ASINLoc pipeline for Retail,3P, PTO, SPB, EU Retail Softline’s & NAFN. The PM would build right level of metrics to monitor the pipeline health and drive mechanisms with internal teams and external requestors to balance the throughput of the pipeline. The will be required to call out any risks, capture early failures or throughput issues due to sudden surge in ASIN volumes in the localization pipeline and resolve issues with partner teams or ASINLoc Tech teams as well as requesting added pipeline capacity to meet business requirements. The PM will oversee onboarding new configuration requests new selections. You will structure programs to launch new processes, identify defects across existing portfolios and rectify them. This is a unique role that offers a great opportunity to build something new, work cross functionally across strategic businesses, and interact with global stakeholders. You will need to balance between big picture thinking and obsessing with the details, identifying risks. The ideal candidate should have exceptional written and verbal skills, and be comfortable presenting to senior leadership and drive alignment amongst stakeholders.

Ideal candidate is expected to:

  • Work with internal teams (Engineering/Product Management etc) to identify opportunities and set up new processes from scratch which can reduce load on partner teams.

  • Work with product management/Engineering teams to understand program requirements and jointly develop a solution to drive automation as well as deliver on the yearly goals.

  • Identify defects, deep dive root causes and work out short-term and long-term solutions. Use industry proven tools such as lean/six sigma to drive operational efficiencies and quality improvement in the operations team under your purview.

  • Develop team goals and metrics that allow for accurate measurement and traction towards solving a business problem, achieve buy-in from stakeholders and actively report progress on the goals.

  • Measure performance through metrics, providing feedback, and holding PMs accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.

  • People management i.e. performance appraisals, goal setting, training and mentoring talent to grow within organization & control attrition.

  • Thrive and operate in a variable & grey environment by addressing situations of low workload forecast, varying customer priorities, changing mix of workload which will impact productivity bar and cross-skilling of resources for most optimum throughput management.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
