The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Grade 5 Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) with an active Top Secret Clearance for a facilities engineering program to support a federal Agency.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Perform all duties associated with Grade 4.

• Use this grade only when work complexity matches grade requirements and to supervise CST personnel, Grades 3 - 4, as warranted by the task or PMP.

• Report to complex security issues to the GTM and SSM

• Recommend staffing strategies for large and complex projects.

• Recommend budget/fiscal strategies that maximize efficiency across the task or assigned area.

Qualifications and Education Required:

• Active Top Secret Clearance

• Ten (10) plus years of experience working in a security function directly related to the discipline required; prior security management experience preferred, a bachelor’s degree in any field of study is preferred, advanced degrees desired, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.

• Technical training or expertise may be required.

• Must have direct experience as a CST domestically or overseas, with experience on at least three distinct construction projects
