(SEL-ES) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Project Engineer - Project Manager position in our Houston Branch.

As a Power Systems Project Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • Full life-cycle project management of multiple large multi-discipline projects from proposal conception to commissioning and close-out.

  • Tracking and stabilizing projects, implementing solutions for obstacles, and anticipating customer needs related to SEL products in order to complete complex assignments.

  • Train and assist customers with creation, design configuration, validations, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems.

  • Travel regionally a maximum of 25%.

  • Assigning, completing, and implementing work within agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget to a high level of quality and safety.

This job might be for you if:

  • You have 4+ years of project management experience related to electric power systems, industry practices, and philosophies

  • You are passionate about mentoring and developing professional staff, and working collaboratively with a team

  • You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

  • You are able to provide support across focus areas, including marketing, sales, application engineering, and development activities.

  • You have a Professional Engineer License or equivalent certification

    Pay Range Data

We anticipate filling this position as a Project Engineer II - Project Manager $87,000.00 - $136,000.00. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills
