  • Position Summary*

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Training Planning, this position is responsible for the efficient creation of monthly training schedules that maximizes resources and minimizes costs. Additionally, the position will interact and provide strategic scheduling for all operational training groups.*

  • Key Responsibilities*

  • Provide long-range planning of monthly training events for all operational groups to include plotting most cost-effective allocations of resources and personnel based on legalities according to regulations and contractual requirements.

  • Update, build, and maintain qualification structures within the Training Management System to ensure operational functions are properly documented.

  • Assist monthly Pilot & In-Flight training Preferential Bidding System (PBS) processes to ensure accurate training allocations are provided to workforce.

  • Generate and publish scheduled training reports and perform scenario analysis.

  • Collaborate with Training Leadership to create and publish adhoc reports relating to training records, qualification requirements, and auditing of records.

  • Create and publish course catalogs for planning to all operational groups.

  • Generate and disseminate scheduled training forecast reports to operational stakeholders to provide visibility for compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the development of long-range plans to include forecasting of vendor requirements, crew training, and crew requirements for operational groups.

  • Provide training scheduling support in the day-to-day operations, as needed.

  • Professional development and other related duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Requirements*

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.

  • 4 years’ scheduling / planning / coordinating experience.

  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work well under pressure and excel as a team player.

  • Exhibit strong organizational, analytical, and decision making skills.

  • Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision within established guidelines.

  • Able to work a varied shift schedule when required.

/ Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $49,000 - $62,000./

  • Preferred Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Management or other related work experience.

  • Proficient experience in crew planning and flight crew training scheduling.

  • Familiarity with FAA and regulatory requirements within training environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel and Access software systems.
