Description:

Come join the Centralized Transportation team at Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.

What you will do:

  • Support the Director in oversight of the day-to-day operations of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center’s Patient Transportation, Mailroom, and Motor Vehicles departments.

  • Work collaboratively with all levels of leadership teams at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new cost saving strategies, goals, policies and procedures.

  • Ensure productivity improvement objectives are met, while cultivating service quality and internal and external customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure the Director and key hospital stakeholders are kept abreast of issues or problems impacting department efficiencies and effectiveness.

  • Develop and train talent to ensure department quality, sustainability, long term growth, and development.

  • Lead by exemplifying the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Health of New England and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Education: bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience: Minimum three years’ supervisory experience in an institutional healthcare or equivalent setting.

  • Licensure: EPIC Super User certification preferred

  • Skills: Ability to effectively plan, organize and manage a large group of employees and maintain discipline and morale. Ability to work with a variety of internal and external clients and customers. Proficient in EPIC or equivalent system (electronic medical record system) reporting. Proficient in computer software, excel, word etc.
